A young man goes to a job interview. The interviewer asks, “Why did you leave your previous job?”
The young man responds, “The company relocated.”
The interviewer asks, “Where did they relocate to?”
The young man replies, “They relocated to a place without me!”
Story 2: “Doctor’s Strange Advice”
A man visits a doctor known for his unusual advice. The man tells the doctor about his insomnia. The doctor replies, “Every night, count backward from 1,000 to 1. If you lose count, start over!”
Two weeks later, the man returns and says, “Doctor, I still haven’t gotten past 600 before falling asleep!”
Story 3: “The Wrong Date”
A man forgets his wedding anniversary. His wife is furious and says, “Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift that goes from 0 to 100 in just a few seconds!”
The next morning, she finds a bathroom scale with a note that says, “It goes from 0 to 100 in no time!”
Story 4: “The Cat’s Secret”
A little boy looks at his family’s cat and wonders why it doesn’t talk. One day, he asks his mom, “Mom, why can’t our cat talk?”
His mom replies, “Because if it did, we’d have to pay it for babysitting!”
