Albert Einstein, the brilliant physicist, often traveled to give lectures. One day, after delivering a series of talks, his driver, who had attended every one of them, jokingly remarked, “Dr. Einstein, I’ve heard your lecture so many times, I could probably give it myself!”
Einstein, intrigued, proposed a fun idea: “Let’s switch places. I’ll put on your hat and drive, and you can give the lecture!”
The driver agreed, and they arrived at the next lecture hall with the driver dressed as Einstein and Einstein in the driver’s cap. The driver successfully delivered the lecture, having memorized it by heart. But then, a professor in the audience asked a complicated question.
Without missing a beat, the “fake” Einstein replied, “That question is so simple, I’ll let my driver answer it!”
Einstein, sitting in the back, stood up and gave the perfect answer, leaving the audience none the wiser. This light-hearted prank shows Einstein’s sense of humor and creativity even outside the world of physics.
